Project Coordinator, Conference Department
Type: full time

Your main tasks will include:

  • Planning and execution of scientific conferences
  • Coordination of all aspects of the event according to project timeline and plan of action; regular communication with the conference chair and the organizing committee
  • Destination research and evaluation
  • Negotiation and contracting of suppliers
  • Exhibition planning and sales
  • Coordinate delegate marketing campaign
  • Programme and speakers coordination
  • Coordination of publications and marketing materials production; social media content schedule
  • Conference budget and financial reports

Requirements:

  • MS Office skills, fluent English (spoken & written), second foreign language is an advantage
  • Good organisational skills, flexibility, creativity, ability to solve problems in an efficient way, good communication skills, positive can-do mind set, independent decision making combined with team work, strategic planning and analytic thinking
  • Experience in the field of  conference organisation
  • Higher education without specific background

Trainee position in Codan Consulting
Type: half time (flexible hours), paid

The main tasks will include:

  • Administrative support on different ongoing and future projects;
  • Final invoicing of events;
  • Abstract administration (in coordination with project manager);
  • Conference registrations administration (handling changes, updates);
  • Support with marketing activities related to different projects;
  • Manage administrative tasks and processes with regards to Web site content management
  • Research, price analyses and production of brochures for destination management projects.

Web and system administration, Conference Department
Type: full time

The job position includes administrative tasks and processes with regards to web site content management system (TYPO3), abstract submission systems and mobile app for events. The job includes a training period to get aquainted to the systems used.

Web administration

  • Web site content update, including picture and logo adjustments
  • Web site establishment in ”TYPO3”

Abstract management

  • Assistant to project manager located in Copenhagen, Denmark
  • Adjustment of abstracts in system: changing of numbering in system, change of product names, manage uploads of abstracts in the system
  • Proofreading of abstracts – content and format
  • Set up of online abstract submission system
  • Set up programme system
  • Onsite service desk for e-posters at one annual conference (EWMA May 2018, Krakow)

Mobile App: Adjustment of files (export/import files)

Requirements:

  • high education (students are also welcomed)
  • MS Office skills
  • fluent English (spoken & written)
  • organisational skills, adaptable and comfortable working with a variety of tasks
